Craft Room Make Over

While doing some repairs to the ceiling in my craft room we discovered that the ceiling had been dropped at some time and sheet rocked, probably in the 50's or 60's. Our house was built in 1908 and were we in for a surprise. The entire house has 10 foot ceilings and bead board hiding behind the sheet rock ceilings. We plan on tearing all the Sheetrock out and exposing the beautiful bead board and this is the first room we have completed. Look at the dramatic difference Ron made to this room. This room is on the front of our house and has windows on every wall. Because we have a split level house this room is also about 12 feet off the ground and the room is my favorite room in the house!

"Lake House Witches"

"Lake House Witches"
An Original Painting by artists Sherry and Ron Byrum Painted on a 3/4"gallery wrapped canvas with acrylics!
A little girl dressed as a Witch has ventured off by herself with her faithful companion and is in a hurry to get by the Lake House Witches' House. Her imagination has her a little bit frightened!! She's heard the neighbors whispering about the witches by the lake. She must hurry past lest she be taken down to the dungeon and out to the swamp. This is a charming, one of a kind Halloween painting sure to make you smile as you remember Halloween adventures from long ago when children were still safe to wander the neighborhoods in search of treats and the only thing to fear were the imaginings in the mind of a child that conjured up trees that could reach out and grab them!
